Genshin Impact: Diluc's Envisaged Echoes guide

Envisaged Echoes in Genshin Impact is a gameplay mode where you can use specific characters to clear combat stages. Being part of Imaginarium Theater, you must reach Adventure Rank 35 and fully clear this permanent combat gameplay until at least Act 6 to play Envisaged Echoes.

Currently, only five characters can be used to clear the Envisaged Echoes stages: Jean, Diluc, Kirara, Ningguang, and Qiqi. Keep in mind that you need to have each of these characters at Level 90 and be at Friendship Rank 10 with them to play their Envisaged Echoes challenges.

To unlock Diluc's Envisaged Echoes challenge stage, you will need two Keys of Echoes, along with having him at Friendship Level 8 and Level 90. If you don't have Diluc at a high enough level yet or don't have enough Friendship with him, you will have to wait till you reach the requirements to unlock his challenge stage.

Diluc's Envisaged Echoes: Combat Prep

While Envisaged Echoes stages are not as tough as Spiral Abyss, they are certainly tougher than standard overworld gameplay. Thus, simply leveling up the character is not enough; you need to know the character's strong points and how to maximize their potential to clear the stages.

Diluc's challenge stage in Envisaged Echoes is a pure DPS check, so give him as much ATK and Crit DMG as you can. Make sure his artifacts have as many of these substats as possible, along with Crit Rate for a good ratio. You can give him a full 4Pc Gladiator's Finale set, or go with a 2Pc Pyro DMG Bonus/2Pc ATK% mix-and-match set. Also remember to give him a weapon with ATK% or Crit DMG% as its main stat, such as Redhorn Stonethresher, or Wolf's Gravestone.

Diluc's Envisaged Echoes: How to clear the stage?

Diluc's Envisaged Echoes challenge stage is divided into two parts: The Dark Side of Dawn Phase I and The Dark Side of Dawn Phase II. Clearing the first phase is mandatory for getting to the second phase. If you manage to clear the first phase but get defeated in the second phase, you can restart the challenge from the second phase again.

1) First phase: The Dark Side of Dawn Phase I

The first phase is strategy-based. The challenge objective for this stage is to light up all the Pyro monuments in the area within a limited period of time. The Special Rule for this stage is a buff that regenerates energy at fixed intervals, so if you are unable to light up all the Pyro monuments at once, you can wait for a couple of seconds and immediately try again.

The easiest way to clear The Dark Side of Dawn Phase I is to use Diluc's Elemental Burst from such an angle that it hits all five Pyro monuments at once and lights them up at the same time. Since Diluc's energy will automatically be regenerated, you are free to try as many times as you need to accomplish the objective.

2) Second phase: The Dark Side of Dawn Phase II

Once you clear the first phase, you will automatically move on to the second phase, The Dark Side of Dawn Phase II. This phase is combat-based and involves clearing multiple waves of enemies within a limited amount of time.

The first wave consists of four Wooden Shield Hilichurl Guards and one Wooden Shieldwall Mitachurl. The second wave has two Ice Shield Hilichurl Guards and one Ice Shieldwall Mitachurl. The third and last wave comprises two Cryo Abyss Mages.

All these enemies have shields that are susceptible to Diluc's Pyro attacks, so as long as you have a moderately well-built Diluc, you should be able to defeat all the enemies and clear the stage with ease.

Here are some strategies you can follow to clear the second phase of Diluc's Envisaged Echoes challenge:

• Let the enemies come to you instead of chasing after them. That way you can group them all in one place before unleashing Diluc's Elemental Burst and hitting them all at once.
• Focus on the stage timer. You need to juggle keeping an eye on the countdown along with fighting the enemies to make sure you don't run out of time.
• Try and avoid getting hit as much as you can. Getting hit by enemies will not only interrupt your attack combos, but also make Diluc more susceptible to dying, since this is a solo domain with no healer.

Finishing Diluc's stage will reward you with his Echo, which you can equip by opening his Dressing Room, selecting the Echo, and equipping it on him. You can now see his Echo in-game with every walking and running animation.
