The Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King is one of the new World Bosses introduced in the 5.0 update of Genshin Impact. The enemy has an intricate fighting style with many special mechanics, including throwing Flamegranate Fruits on the ground and then swallowing them to throw at you. While fighting, you can ignite a fruit and have the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King swallow it. Doing so, will unlock a special achievement and complete one of the challenges in the ongoing Traces of Artistry event in Genshin Impact.

As mentioned above, during battle, the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King will occasionally throw three Flamegranate Fruits on the ground, then swallow them one by one to throw them at you to deal damage on hit. You can ignite these fruits with any of your Pyro attacks, causing them to explode inside the enemy's stomach, dealing damage to it.

If you ignite all three Flamegranate Fruits before the boss can swallow them, it will temporarily immobilize the enemy, giving you a window to deal damage with your team's rotation.

There will also be instances when the enemy will throw only one Flamegranate Fruit on the ground. You can ignite the fruit with one of your Pyro attacks before the enemy swallows it to deal a decent amount of damage to it, but it will not immobilize the enemy.

Also, it is important to note that if the boss swallows an ignited Flamegranate Fruit and does not get immobilized, it will throw the ignited fruit back at you, which will deal a significantly higher amount of damage.

As mentioned in the beginning, there is a challenge in the ongoing event "Traces of Artistry" where you must ignite a fruit and have the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King swallow it. You can find the challenge in the "Leaping Momentum" section under the Scions of the Canopy event page.

Completing the challenge will reward you with Natlan Talent Level-Up Materials, Hero's Wits, and some Colorful Contemplation, which is a special currency that can be used in exchange for various rewards during the event.

There is also an achievement named "Et tu, Dinobrute?", which can be claimed after completing the above-mentioned challenge.
