Genshin Impact 5.0 drip marketing reveals Kachina as a playable character

As mentioned, Genshin Impact has confirmed that Kachina will join the playable roster in version 5.0, the first patch of Natlan. In the latest drip marketing, Mualani also shares her first meeting with the Geo character:

"Not long after we first met, I saw Kachina crying, and tried to hand her a handkerchief. But smiling back, she said to me, 'Don't worry, I'll wipe my own tears away.' That was a moment I'll always remember. So don't you worry about her either — the girl's made of strong stuff. Just make sure you give her all the encouragement she needs."

According to Mualani, Kachina is a strong girl despite her age.

Kachina is one of only three characters who appeared in two Natlan teasers, which revealed that she is a Geo character. She also has a strange exploration ability that allows her to summon a device that looks like a drill machine, which she can use to climb vertical surfaces. The ability will also likely be a part of her kit when she is revealed.

Recent leaks also suggest that Kachina is likely a Polearm user. The info comes from a fairly reliable leaker called Seele, who also accurately leaked the names of all the characters from Natlan and their body types nearly a week before the Ignition Teaser was released. Thus, one can expect Kachina's potential weapon leak to be reliable.
