All PC launchers for the title will gradually experience a grayscale release until all of them have been updated to the newest iteration. As mentioned, HoYoPLAY will be made available to the player base gradually, and only a select few can upgrade to it right now. If chosen, you will see a notification pop-up suggesting you update the launcher when you start it.

Here are all the steps if you see the notification:

• Check all the relevant options and select an installation path.
• Click on Install and wait for the update to be completed.

Once completed, you will see two icons on the desktop, one for Genshin Impact and the other for HoYoPLAY. While either will open the same launcher, clicking the former option will redirect you to the game's home page within it.
