Genshin Impact leak talks about Snezhnaya's location and area size

Out of the seven nations of Teyvat, six have already been released in Genshin Impact. The upcoming nation of Snezhnaya, which is supposed to be released in the 6.x patches, is the only region left. So far, bits and pieces of information regarding Snezhnaya have been dropped in the game (mostly by NPC characters). The latest leaks from UTeyvat have shared some more possible details about the nation of Cryo.

Genshin Impact leaks hint at Snezhnaya's location

Reputed leaker UTeyvat has hinted at the possible location of Snezhnaya on the map of Teyvat. According to this leak, Snezhnaya will be located on the northwest side of Teyvat, above Natlan. It will extend eastwards till it meets (or at least comes close to) the northern borders of Fontaine.

Currently, the entire space above the regions of Natlan and Sumeru is empty, which is where Fontaine is speculated to be. If that is the case, and the leak about it extending all the way to the northern borders of Fontaine is true, then the region of Snezhnaya will be extremely large indeed.

The leak from UTeyvat also mentions that so far, locations of all the regions have more or less adhered to the first-ever Genshin Impact Closed Beta Test map developed back in 2019. As can be seen from the map (compiled by erstwhile leaker Lumie_Lumie with translation help from leaker Genshin Intel), this is indeed true. The general locations of Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru have been replicated completely, while Fontaine and Natlan have also been aligned more or less the same way.

Some crumbs about snezhnaya byu/ukrisreng inGenshin_Impact_Leaks

Some more leaks regarding Snezhnaya surfaced a few months ago, courtesy of leaker Keitaro_GG, which shared information regarding the nation of Cryo. This particular leak didn't hint at Snezhnaya's geographical location, but instead shared a few crumbs of Snezhnaya's lore, such as the Cryo nation having a midsummer solstice festival, and a mechanism called the 'Krsnik Torch' functioning as the main heating system for the nation.

Needless to say, all of this is still mere speculation at this point, and since the release of Snezhnaya is far away, players will have to wait for quite some time to get any official information about the nation ruled by the Tsaritsa.
