Genshin Impact Mementos of Teyvat photo-taking locations

Mementos of Teyvat is a photography event in Genshin Impact 5.0. It is a commemorative photo-taking event introduced to the title as part of celebrating the four-year journey of Genshin Impact. In this event, players are required to traverse through different areas of Teyvat that have played a key role in the story and take pictures of these locations.

There are a total of 12 photo-taking locations in Mementos of Teyvat, with two such photo-taking spots being revealed each day. This article provides a list of all the various locations that you need visit for the photography challenges in Mementos of Teyvat.

Genshin Impact Mementos of Teyvat Day 1 locations (Mondstadt)

1) A Legendary Beginning

The first photo-taking spot for Day 1 is near Whispering Woods in Mondstadt, and players can get to interact with Amber in the process. To get here, teleport to the Starfell Valley teleport waypoint and head north.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Weapon must be a Sword
Time should be between 15:00 - 17:00
Should be in the designated area

Make sure to select characters who are Sword users (for example Traveler, Kazuha, Furina, Lynette, Ayaka, Kaeya, and so on), and also to set in-game time between 15:00 and 17:00.

2) The Dragon and the Adventurer

The second Mementos of Teyvat photo-taking spot for Day 1 is in Stormterror's Lair in Mondstadt. To get here, teleport to the waypoint southeast of the photo-taking spot, and ride the Wind Current up to the photo-taking area.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Character is in idle animation.
Time should be between 04:00 - 06:00.
Should be in the designated area.

Change in-game time to between 04:00 and 06:00 and snap a picture using Paimon's Kamera while the active character is in an idle animation state.

Genshin Impact Mementos of Teyvat Day 2 locations (Liyue)

1) Somewhere You'd Want to Go When You're Hungry...

The first Mementos of Teyvat photo-taking location for Day 2 is at the entrance of Liyue Harbor and features Xiangling. Teleport to the northern Liyue Harbor Teleport Waypoint, turn north, and glide down to reach the photo-taking point on the bridge.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Character is from Liyue or is the Traveler.
Time should be between 10:00 - 14:00.
Should be in the designated area.

You can either use the Traveler or any characters who hail from Liyue such as Xiangling herself, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Hu Tao, Zhongli, and other. Do remember to set your in-game time to between 10:00 and 14:00.

2) Treetop Pavilion

The second photo-taking location for Day 2 overlooks Wangshu Inn. To get here, teleport to the Guili Plains Teleport Waypoint near the photo-taking location, and head north till you reach the spot.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Weapon must be a Polearm.
Character is in idle animation.
Should be in the designated area.

Use a character who wields a Polearm, such as Zhongli, Xiangling, Emilie, Hu Tao, Arlecchino, Rosaria, etc. Use Paimon's Kamera to take a picture while the character is idle animation.

Genshin Impact Mementos of Teyvat Day 3 locations (Inazuma)

1) Looking Down on the World Below

The first photo-taking location in Mementos of Teyvat for Day 3 features Kazuha, and is located near the Statue of the Omnipresent God in Inazuma City. Teleport to the Inazuma City Teleport Waypoint and head west till you reach the photo-taking spot.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Weapon must be a Claymore or the Traveler is present.
The time should be between 17:00 - 19:00.
Should be in the designated area.

Use either the Travelers or any Claymore character such as Kinich, Beidou, Gaming, Navia, Itto, Diluc, and so on. Remember to set the in-game time to between 17:00 and 19:00.

2) Her Excellency... Something Narukami... What a Mouthful!

The second photo-taking location for Day 3 is at the Grand Narukami Shrine in Narukami Island. Teleport to the Grand Narukami Shrine Teleport Waypoint and turn around to get to the photo-taking spot.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Character must wield the power of Electro.
Character is using Normal attack.
Should be in the designated area.

Switch to any Electro wielding characters such as Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, Sara, Clorinde, Fischl, Sethos, Razor, etc. Also, make sure to take the picture using Paimon's Kamera right as your character is doing a normal attack.

Genshin Impact Mementos of Teyvat Day 4 locations (Sumeru)

1) Data, Dissertations and Examinations

The first photo-taking location for Day 4 of Mementos of Teyvat is near Sumeru City and features Collei. To get to this location, teleport to the Chinvat Ravine Teleport Waypoint and make your way to the photo-taking spot.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Character must wield the power of Dendro or is the Traveler.
Time should be between 12:00 - 14:00.
Should be in the designated area.

Switch to either the Traveler or any Dendro characters such as Collei herself, or Tighnari, Nahida, Baizhu, Yaoyao, Alhaitham, etc. Also don’t forget to set the in-game time to between 12:00 and 14:00.

2) Aboveground Portion of an Underground Labyrinth

The second photo-taking spot for Day 4 is in the Hypostyle Desert in Sumeru. It is located right beside the Hypostyle Desert Statue of the Seven, so you can get to the area very easily.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Weapon must be a Polearm.
Character should be walking or running.
Should be in the designated area.

For this challenge, use any Polearm-wielding characters, such as Zhongli, Xiao, Cyno, Rosaria, Lisa, etc. Take the picture right as your character is either walking or running, but remember not to stray too far away from the designated area.

Genshin Impact Mementos of Teyvat Day 5 locations (Fontaine)

1) City of Operatic Trials

The first Mementos of Teyvat photo-taking location for Day 5 is situated in the Vasari Passage area in the Court of Fontaine and features Lynette. Teleport to the southeastern-most Teleport Waypoint in the Court of Fontaine area and jump straight down to reach the photo-taking spot.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Weapon must be a Bow or the Traveler is present.
Time should be between 02:00 - 06:00.
Should be in the designated area.

Use either the Traveler or other Bow-wielding characters such as Childe, Yelan, Venti, Ganyu, Diona, Amber, etc. Also, make sure to set the in-game time to between 02:00 and 06:00.

2) Theater of Fate

The second photo-taking location for Day 5 is right beside the Fountain of Lucine in the Opera Epiclese area. Teleport to the Fountain of Lucine Teleport waypoint and head straight till you reach the Fountain of Lucine, with the photo-taking spot right next to it.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Character must wield the power of Hydro.
Character is using a Charged attack.
Should be in the designated area.

Use characters who are of the Hydro Elemental Type, such as Furina, Yelan, Kokomi, Childe, Ayato, Candace, Barbara, etc. Take the picture using Paimon’s Kamera while your active character is standing in the designated area and using a Charged Attack.

Genshin Impact Mementos of Teyvat Day 6 locations (Mondstadt & Natlan)

1) The Story’s Beginning

The first photo-taking location for Day 6 of the Mementos of Teyvat event is on Stormbearer Coast in Mondstadt and features Paimon. Teleport to the Starfell Valley Teleport Waypoint on the beach, and walk over to the photo-taking location just a few steps ahead.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Weapon must be a Sword.
Character is in idle animation.
Should be in the designated area.

You can use any Sword-wielding characters for this challenge, such as the Traveler, Ayato, Kaeya, Alhaitham, Kirara, Kazuha, Jean, etc. Stand in the designated area beside Paimon and take the picture while your character is in idle animation.

2) The Adventure Continues

The second photo-taking location for Day 6 is in Natlan, in the Children of Echoes region. The photo-taking spot is located right next to the Children of Echoes Statue of the Seven.

The objectives for this challenge include:

Character must wield the power of Pyro.
Character is using a Charged attack or Normal attack.
Should be in the designated area.

Use any Pyro characters such as Dehya, Arlecchino, Bennett, Amber, Klee, Yanfei, Thoma, Diluc, etc. for this challenge. Also, remember to use a Charged or Normal Attack while taking the picture.
