Genshin Impact Misfortune Strikes in Threes Alone hidden achievement unlock guide

"Misfortune Strikes in Threes Alone…" is a new achievement added to the title during the Genshin Impact 5.2 update. It involves the Traveler rescuing an NPC named Conulaf from sticky situations in three different locations. Once that is complete, you will obtain this hidden achievement worth five Primogems from the Wonders of the World category.

How to get the Misfortune Strikes in Threes Alone hidden achievement in Genshin Impact

As mentioned earlier, you must defeat some enemies and rescue the Masters of the Night-Wind NPC, Conulaf, at three different locations to obtain the "Misfortune Strikes in Threes Alone…" achievement in Genshin Impact.

The above map showcases all three locations where she gets stuck during her travels. You should note that there is no particular order to rescuing her and you can begin from any location.

Without further ado, here are all three locations where Conulaf gets trapped:

Location #1

This location is fairly close to the Statue of the Seven West of the Flower-Feather Clan. Just teleport to the statue and head west to the marked location. Here you will come across a camp of tribal warriors. Defeat them and then you will hear Conulaf's voice from inside a cart beside the camp. Free her to complete the rescue and unlock the Common Chest.

Location #2

The second place where Conulaf gets trapped is on the northern coast of the Ochkanatlan main island, at the location marked on the map above. Travel there and you will find some tribal warriors engaged in Saurian battles. You will see a Qucusaur battling a Tepetlisaur here. You must indwell an Iktomisaur to defeat both using its abilities.

Do note that you can use the water in the surroundings to freeze the Saurians using Iktomisaur's Cryo attacks. Afterward, you must free Conulaf from the cage to save her. You will obtain a Precious Chest here to do so.

Location #3

The last place where Conulaf gets trapped is inside a cage on a hot air balloon, northeast of the Teleport Waypoint north of the Flower-Feather Clan. Proceed to the marked location by indwelling a Qucusaur and defeat the Hilichurls on the hot air balloon.

Following this, a Qucusaur will fly away with the keys to the cage. It is recommended you indwell it immediately or chase it to do so and get the keys. Then return to Conulaf's location and unlock her to obtain an Exquisite Chest and the Misfortune Strikes in Threes Alone achievement.
