However, as per the new leaks, it seems The Captain won't be released as a playable unit in Natlan.

According to the shared data, The Captain has an NPC ID, meaning he isn't listed as one of the upcoming characters and won't be released as a playable unit, unlike other Natlan characters.

It is currently unknown whether Il Capitano's playability status will change in the future, but leaks from another leaker suggest his status will remain unchanged.

@hxg_diluc on X speculates that IDs 108 and 109 could belong to Ifa and an unnamed 4-star character from Liyue. For those unaware, Ifa is a Saurian doctor, and Travelers can find voicelines about him in Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina's profiles. Unfortunately, there's no info on the 4-star character from Liyue at the moment.
