Genshin Impact Natlan preview teaser "Lil Buddy" reveals more landscapes and new enemy

The new upcoming region of Natlan will be released in less than a month in Genshin Impact's version 5.0 update. HoYoverse has shared four teasers for Natlan so far, with the latest being called "Lil Buddy," wherein we can see a little dragon-like creature roaming around the area of Natlan, revealing even more new landscapes in the Pyro region, along with a new enemy.

Genshin Impact "Lil Buddy" preview teaser reveals more information about Natlan

A previous teaser had already introduced players to Saurians, the dragons of Natlan who have evolved to co-exist and live in harmony with humans. This latest teaser titled "Lil Buddy" focuses on one such Saurian seen roaming the lands.

The teaser starts with the young Saurian standing behind the traveler and Paimon, gazing off into the region's distant vistas. Soon enough, he turns around and watches a finch in fascination, and follows it as it flies away.

Lil Buddy can then be seen walking through various regions, which players can later explore once the Genshin Impact 5.0 update is released. The first few places he goes to look like they're underground, or at least not on the upper surface.

All these areas are quite vibrant, signifying the landscape's colorful and dynamic culture. Players who have interacted with the Sumeru NPC Adel have already been told about how Natlan is a "colorful, contradictory, charming place." The gorgeous new landscapes showcased in this testify to that statement.

The little dragon can next be seen walking through some more regions of Natlan, situated at ground level this time. After walking through a few more areas, he burrows into the ground and surfaces a short distance later. Once the young Saurian stands up on the ground again, he and the players are in for a surprise.

A new enemy is shown waiting in the distance. Multiple wing-like protrusions and a big halo give it a pretty menacing appearance. While the young Saurian tries to intimidate the enemy at first, he soon gets scared and runs away, implying that this enemy might be significantly challenging for players to fight as well.

Prominent leaker _homdgcat has shared this enemy's name and its relevance to the region's culture. Its max HP and ATK have been leaked too.
