Genshin Impact Ignite teaser confirms Harbinger Capitano's involvement in Natlan
Il Capitano is rumored to be the number one of the Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact. Most recently, he crossed paths with Grandmaster Varka during the latter's expedition and was rumored to be heading to Natlan, according to Mika.
There is a lot of hype surrounding The Captain amongst fans. He is extremely strong and the only Harbinger whose face hasn't been shown yet. He always wears a peculiar mask adorned with chains with a cutout in the middle that hides his face. He also seems to have black hair.
Naturally, fans can't wait to learn more about this powerful adversary and it appears Capitano will become a part of the narrative in the Natlan chapter of the game.
The latest Ignition Teaser: A Name Forged in Flames provided a preview of several upcoming characters from the Pyro nation. The trailer starts with Mualani and Kachina throwing a ball to promote the yearly tournament of Natlan. It travels through the hands of several people until we get our first look at Mavuika, who is widely suspected to be the Pyro Archon, standing in a battle arena.
She addresses the crowd and then concludes her speech by saying:
"This battle is for winners only. The champion...will take all."
Afterward, the teaser gives us a glimpse at all the Natlan characters before panning toward Il Capitano standing alongside a mysterious character, Ororon. Mavuika then asks the Harbinger whether he is brave enough to compete in the tournament, confirming his involvement in the Natlan chapter of Genshin Impact.
While fans hoped The Captain may answer Mavuika's question, he looked down and replied with a non-enthusiastic "Hmph" instead.
Either Capitano or someone on behalf of the Fatui may likely participate in the tournament, especially if the implied "winner takes all" prize may also include the Pyro Gnosis. However, fans must wait until the upcoming version 5.0 update to learn more about Natlan's storyline.
