Natlan has a total of 14 Viewpoints that players can discover in Genshin Impact. Discovering and unlocking them adds them to the in-game Archive, where you can view them all later. Discovering Viewpoints also gives a brief overview of the area for greater understanding of the world of Teyvat.
While some of the Viewpoints are easily accessible, some of them are locked behind World Quests in Genshin Impact that you will need to complete first. Read on to find out where the 14 Viewpoints are located across various areas in Natlan.
Locations of all Natlan Viewpoints in Genshin Impact
1) Among the Painted Peaks: Tecquemecan Valley

This Viewpoint is situated right beside the Statue of the Seven in the Children of Echoes region. It overlooks the entire expanse of Natlan, filled with bright and vibrant locales.

2) Land of Many Echoes: Tecquemecan Valley
This Viewpoint is located adjacent to the Teleport Waypoint to the east of the Children of Echoes Statue of the Seven. Additionally, you can find it by using the Navigation feature from the Genshin Impact's Traces of Artistry event page, as unlocking this Viewpoint is a challenge in it.
3) Pins of Rock Entwined with Golden Runes: Sulfurous Veins
This Viewpoint location is right next to the Sulfurous Veins Teleport Waypoint, which is below ground level. Follow the route marked to enter and reach this place, and discover the Viewpoint.
4) Stone Chamber of Shifting Crystal Pillars: Land of Myriad Megaliths
To discover this Natlan Viewpoint in Genshin Impact, you need to do two things:
- First, finish the World Quest "Beneath the Crystal Rock" (which you can start by talking to the NPC beside the Teleport Viewpoint in the previous location).
- After you finish the quest, its continuation quest titled "Peace to the Slumbering" will pop up, which you will have to start.
Once you start the Peace to the Slumbering World Quest, the quest objective will take you all the way down to the bottom of the area, deep underground. Here you will be able to unlock a Teleport Waypoint, and the Viewpoint will also be right beside it.
5) Canopy of the Clifftops: Coatepec Mountain
This Viewpoint is located right next to the Teleport Waypoint to the east of the Scions of the Canopy Statue of the Seven. Unlocking this Viewpoint is also one of the mini-games for the Day 2 of Traces of Artistry event challenges, so you can navigate to this Viewpoint directly from the event page as well.
6) Arena of Glory and Triumph: Basin of Unnumbered Flames
This Viewpoint is situated beside the Teleport Waypoint west of the Basin of Unnumbered Flames Statue of the Seven. Once you teleport to the waypoint, the Viewpoint should be right in front of you.
7) Home of Hot Springs and Flowing Waters: Toyac Springs
Teleport to the waypoint north of the People of the Springs region. The Natlan Viewpoint is right beside the Teleport Waypoint, overlooking the beautiful Toyac Springs area.
8) Plane of Pure Desolation: The Upper Sanctum
To reach this area, you need to complete the World Quests "Tracer No Tracing" and finish the first half of its follow-up quest "Seeker no Seeking." After a certain point in the quest, you will gain access to the Upper Sanctum. This Natlan Viewpoint in Genshin Impact is right in front of the lake, on the northeastern bank.
9) Mother Tree of Fruitful Plenty: Tecquemecan Valley
To reach this Viewpoint, teleport to the waypoint northwest of Tepeacac Rise, and make your way west from there.
10) Temple of Ancient Forebears: Ancestral Temple
This Viewpoint is situated right beside the Teleport Waypoint to the northwest of the Ancestral Temple area. You should be able to locate the Viewpoint as soon as you teleport over to the waypoint.
11) Venture to a Secret Isle: Firethief's Secret Isle
Head over to the Teleport Waypoint at the extreme-most southeast corner of Natlan (near the edge of the map). Indwell a Koholasaurus to reach there faster. Once you reach the island and locate the Teleport Waypoint, you will also see the Viewpoint right beside it.
Keep in the mind that this island itself won't show up on the map till you complete a few challenges, following which the island will be visible on the map.
12) Mural of Sworn Pledges: Hall of Parting Vows
This Natlan Viewpoint in Genshin Impact can be found in the underground Sacred Path Trial ruins. To reach this place, you need to start the "Between Pledge and Forgettance" World Quest.
After reaching a certain point in the questline, you will be able to unlock a hidden Teleport Waypoint. From there, walk straight ahead up the stairs to discover this Viewpoint.
13) Where the Painted Realm Unfolds: Coatepec Mountain
To reach this Viewpoint, you need to collect six Broken Graffiti-Marked Stones. Submit these in front of the mural beside the Teticpak Peak underground waypoint to unlock the secret cave. Once you have unlocked the cave, the Natlan Viewpoint will appear.
14) Trial Grounds of Restive Nightsouls: Chamber of Night's Trial
Discovering this Viewpoint requires you to first collect three Shattered Night Jades. After you have collected all three of them, they will be automatically combined to form one whole Night Jade. With the Night Jade in your inventory, head over to the location marked on the map, and click on "Touch" to activate the Chamber of Night's Trial.
Once you have done that, you will be teleported to the challenge arena, where this Natlan Viewpoint in Genshin Impact will be right in front of you.
