Genshin Impact: Ningguang's Envisaged Echoes guide

Envisaged Echoes, a new gameplay mode that is part of Imaginarium Theater, has now been released for players to challenge. Unlocking this new gameplay mode requires one to have reached Adventure Rank 35, while also having finished an entire performance of Imaginarium Theater at Act 6 (or higher).

Currently, there are five characters whose stages can be challenged in Envisaged Echoes. These include Jean, Diluc, Qiqi, Kirara, and Ningguang. Completing each of these challenges rewards players with an 'echo' or a character trail that can be equipped on each character.

As with every other character, unlocking Ningguang's stage in Envisaged Echoes requires players to have two Keys of Echoes in possession. Additionally, Ningguang needs to be at Level 90 and have a minimum of Friendship Level 8. These conditions are necessary to unlock every character's Envisaged Echoes challenge stage.

The Envisaged Echoes gameplay mode serves as a test for players not only in terms of character building but also in strategizing and capitalizing on the character's strengths. Each stage is designed in a way that you need to be familiar with the character you're playing and know the best techniques to make the most of their kit.

Ningguang's challenge stage in Envisaged Echoes depends on utilizing her damage potential to the fullest. You will need to give her a DPS build for this challenge, so focus on artifacts that will give her ATK%, Crit Rate, and Crit DMG.

You can give her a 2Pc ATK/2Pc ATK set to maximize her ATK, or you can go with a 2Pc Geo DMG Bonus/2Pc ATK set for more flexibility. Weapons such as Memory of Dust, Skyward Atlas, or The Widsith will be good options for her Envisaged Echoes challenge stage.

Also, remember to focus on including Energy Recharge substats in her artifacts, as you will need to use her Elemental Burst multiple times in combination with her Elemental Skill to defeat the enemies.

Ningguang's Envisaged Echoes: How to clear the stage

Ningguang's Envisaged Echoes stage objective is straightforward. All you need to do is protect the monolith and defeat a total of 12 opponents. There are no buffs or debuffs in this stage, so you can focus all your attention on the main challenge objective.

Here are some strategies you can use to clear Ningguang's Envisaged Echoes stage quickly and easily:

1) Make the best use of Ningguang's Jade Screen

Always try and position the Jade Screen between the enemies and the monolith, so the enemies' ranged attacks cannot hit the monolith. This will buy you some time to attack and defeat them without endangering the monolith's health.

The enemies are heavily buffed in this stage, and a single attack can bring the monolith's HP% down by 20-30%. Always keep the ranged enemies on the other side of the Jade Screen so that none of their attacks can hit the monolith.

2) Take advantage of the no time limit

Ninguang's stage does not have a time limit to it. You just need to protect the monolith from the enemies and ensure that they don't bring its health bar down to 0%. In the absence of a time limit, there is no rush to defeat the enemies, so you can take your time to strategize and attack them.

3) Keep an eye on the HP% of the monolith

Since there will be multiple waves of enemies spawning on different sides of the monolith, it is easy to focus on defeating them while losing track of how much damage the monolith has taken. Remember to always keep an eye on the monolith and its health bar, as you will lose the challenge (and will have to restart) if the HP% of the monolith falls to zero.
