Genshin Impact Prophets of Pop commission: Hidden achievement unlock guide

Prophets of Pop is a new daily commission and is available for players to complete after unlocking daily commissions in Natlan. It has a hidden achievement that players can unlock. Titled Music Never Dies!, this achievement can be obtained by completing the Prophets of Pop daily commission twice.

Daily commissions in Natlan can be unlocked after completing Archon Quest Chapter V Act I: Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn, and the Toward Red-Hot Adventure World Quest. After completing these two, you can set your daily commission region to Natlan, following which you will be able to complete the Prophets of Pop and claim the hidden achievement.

Prophets of Pop commission guide for unlocking hidden achievement in Genshin Impact

The Prophets of Pop daily commission questline comprises two separate daily commissions, both of which need to be completed correctly in order to get the Music Never Dies! hidden achievement. This commission takes place in the People of the Springs region and involves an NPC named Milu Nui.

Here's how to correctly complete both Day 1 and Day 2 of the Prophets of Pop daily commission:

Prophets of Pop: Day 1

The Day 1 Prophets of Pop daily commission takes place in the main People of the Springs area, a little distance away from the tribe's Obsidian Totem Pole. Follow these steps to complete the Prophets of Pop Day 1 commission:

Step 1: Talk to the NPC Milu Nui

Head over to the commission area and begin your conversation with Milu Nui. He will introduce himself as a musician, and then talk about his music and his records, and say that he's planning on writing a new track. Continue the conversation with him.

Step 2: Choose one among the two options

After the initial part of the conversation, Milu Nui will ask for help from the Traveler to create his new music track. At this point, there will be two options presented to you, which are the following:

"We should hear from customers first."
"You could try gathering some sound samples..."

You can choose either of these options, as it will not have any effect on Day 2 of the commission.

Step 3: Complete the commission

As per your choice, the commission will branch into two routes. If you pick the "We should hear from customers first" option, the Traveler will go around asking for opinions about Milu Nui's music from nearby local residents.

If you pick the "You could try gathering some sound samples..." option, the traveler will accompany Milu Nui to listen to some sounds of nature, which will help him compose his new music track.

Once you finish either branch, the Day 1 Prophets of Pop commission will come to an end.

Prophets of Pop: Day 2

The next time you get the Prophets of Pop daily commission, it should be the Day 2 version. Keep in mind that this is not a chain commission, so there is no guarantee that you will get the Day 2 version on the very next day after completing the Day 1 version.

Once you get the Day 2 Prophets of Pop daily commission, follow these steps to complete it and get the Music Never Dies! hidden achievement:

Step 1: Talk to the NPC Milu Nui

Day 2 Prophets of Pop daily commission takes place on one of the southern islands in the People of the Springs region. Teleport to the waypoint on the island southeast of the People of the Springs Obsidian Totem Pole. Milu Nui will be standing on the beach right beside the teleport waypoint.

As you begin the commission and speak to him, he will explain that he needs the Traveler's help to get his records back, as they have been taken away from him.

Step 2: Defeat the enemies without breaking any of the boxes

This step is key to getting the hidden achievement for this commission. After Milu Nui asks the Traveler's help, you will have to head over to the enemy camp a short distance away, defeat the enemies, and retrieve Milu Nui's record.

Once you spot the enemies, lure them away from the boxes. Keep in mind that you cannot break any of the boxes, or you will not get the achievement. Lure the enemies away and defeat them. Once the enemies have been defeated (and with all the boxes intact), you will get the Music Never Dies! hidden achievement.

Step 3: Complete the commission

After you have obtained the achievement, complete the rest of the commission normally to end the Prophets of Pop Day 2 version.
