Genshin Impact Record of Reflective Writing - Day 1 event guide

Record of Reflective Writing is the newest event in the Genshin Impact 4.7 update. It has six levels that focus on collecting coins while dodging various hazards. Each level has a two-minute timer, and you only get to control a single trial character given by the game. The event gives a fair number of rewards and can easily help you collect Encounter points daily to complete your Daily Commissions.

This article provides a brief guide to easily complete and get maximum points on Day 1 of the Record of Reflective Writing event which features two levels.

Record of Reflective Writing First Contact: Direct Confrontation! level guide

The first level of Record of Reflective Writing is called "First Contact: Direct Confrontation!" You get to use Clorinde as a trial character for this level. This stage is quite simple as all you have to do is destroy the Wicked Warlocks while evading the barrage of bullets. Make sure to quickly fill out the Risk Level bar to get as many coins as possible.

Use Clorinde's leap ability to dodge some of the bullets. Ensure you don't waste your Adventure Technique (T key for PC users) as you only have three charges of them in the level. Use it when there are a large amount of bullets heading your way to turn them all into coins.

For completing this stage, you get the following rewards based on the number of points you earned:

• Record reaches 200 - 70 Primogems, 20000 Mora, and 3 Hero's Wit
• Record reaches 400 - 20000 Mora and 2 Guide to Freedom
• Record reaches 600 - 20000 Mora and 3 Mystic Enhancement Ore

Record of Reflective Writing Not Just Doublejumping? Level guide

In the second level of Record of Reflective Writing named "Not Just Doublejumping?" you get to use Xianyun as a trial character. This level has more emphasis on aerial moves as some of the more valuable coins will be high up in the air. Fortunately, Xianyun's Elemental Skill is on a very short cooldown at this level, making it easy to collect these coins. Beware of the Laser Webs that can cause problems at times and try to avoid them.

When a large amount of bullets are coming your way, fly up in the air and activate your Adventure Technique to acquire a large amount of coins. Continue this process until the timer runs out and try to keep the Risk Meter filled up as much as possible.

For completing the second stage of the event, you get the following rewards based on the number of points earned:

• Record reaches 200 - 70 Primogems, 20000 Mora, and 3 Hero's Wit
• Record reaches 400 - 20000 Mora and 2 Guide to Resistance
• Record reaches 600 - 20000 Mora and 3 Mystic Enhancement Ore

To start the Record of Reflecting Writing Event, teleport to the Mondstadt waypoint near the Knights of Favonius Headquarters and glide down to the garden. You can meet Souka, an NPC you previously met in the Flagship Event of Version 3.2, Fabulous Fungus Frenzy. Talk to her to unlock the event.
