A recent job posting on MiHoYo's (the parent company of HoYoverse in China) official job portal revealed that the company is looking to hire scriptwriters for the Genshin Impact anime. The job title is Animation Writer, with the hired candidate(s) set to be responsible for the following tasks:

• Supervising the anime script in accordance with the game
• Ensuring proper implementation and consistency in tone
• Ability to act as the Japanese-speaking communicator necessary for communications with Ufotable

This job posting is still open, indicating that work on the Genshin Impact anime is ongoing. However, the exact percentage of work completed and what remains to be done is not known.

An X user with the handle @morikai3 recently posted another discovery related to the anime. Their post shares information about the LinkedIn profile of an individual apparently linked to the project. This person has seemingly been working as a CG animator and layout artist at Ufotable since January 2024, with "Genshin Impact long-term animation project" listed among their tasks.

While these findings suggest that the Genshin Impact anime is still in development, there is no release date yet. Fans will have to wait for some time before any information regarding the project is officially revealed by HoYoverse.
