Genshin Impact The Lotus Leaf and the Champion quest guide

The Lotus Leaf and the Champion is a new World Quest in Genshin Impact 4.8's event-exclusive Simulanka map. You can start it by approaching a couple of paper frogs near the waterfall in Rainsong Pond, south Forest of Blessings. During its run, you will help a couple of Paper Frogs complete a few challenges, some of which can be slightly tricky since they feature some new mechanisms.

Completing The Lotus Leaf and the Champion will reward you with 30 Primogems and Precious Chest. Here's a simple guide on how to complete the World Quest in Genshin Impact.

You can start The Lotus Leaf and the Champion quest in Genshin Impact by heading to the Rainsong Pond on the south side of the Forest of Blessings and approaching the paper frogs near the waterfall. The quest marker is already available on the map, so it is easy to track.

Talk to the Excited Paper Frog

Follow the quest navigation to find the Excited Paper Frog. Interact with it to start the bouncing challenge.

Practice with the Excited Paper Frog

You must help the Excited Paper Frog reach its destination. To do so, interact with the back side of the frog and use the Normal Attack button to make it jump. You can adjust the direction and the distance of the jump by moving your active character.

The second challenge will begin as soon as you complete the first part. This time, you must follow the same rules, but make the frog jump on the lotus leaf.

Once you've completed the Excited Paper Frog's challenge, follow the quest navigation to head to the next location. Find the Calm Paper Frog to start the next challenge.

Practice with the Calm Paper Frog

Watch the Calm Paper Frog do the challenge once and fail. Next, talk to it to begin the challenge again. This time, you must help the frog.

To complete the challenge, interact with the frog to Lower the waterspout! and let the lotus leaf pass the water without getting hit by the waterspouts.

Once you've completed the challenge, talk to the Calm Paper Frog one more time.

Have the lotus leaf avoid the waterspouts

Go on a ride with Faurobert on a lotus leaf and keep interacting with it to lower the waterspouts to avoid getting hit by the water.

A short cutscene will trigger after you've completed the challenge with Faurobert and conclude The Lotus Leaf and the Champion quest in Genshin Impact.

You will now receive 30 Primogem rewards and a Precious Chest, worth 10 Primogems.
