Simulanka: Genshin Impact The Story Begins in a Forest Without Rain puzzle solutions

The main quest for Genshin Impact 4.8's new map Simulanka is titled 'The Story Begins in a Forest Without Rain'. The quest automatically unlocks once players log in to the game after the new version update. The quest starts with an introduction to the world of Simulanka and some of its residents, followed by three different puzzles that the traveler will have to solve along with Nilou and the forest animals.

The first puzzle requires travelers to rotate the pipes accordingly so that the Magic Tonic can flow through without interruptions. Follow these steps to solve the puzzle:

Step 1: Rotate the first pipe to fit in the slot

Rotate the pipe clockwise one time till it fits properly in the slot.

Step 2: Rotate the second pipe to fit in the slot

Similarly, rotate the second pipe clockwise twice till it fits correctly in the empty slot.

Step 3: Rotate the third pipe to fit horizontally

For the third pipe, rotate it to be horizontal and fit in the slot.

Step 4: Start the flow of the Tonic

Go back to the hamster and click the 'Let the Magic Tonic flow!' option.

Step 5: Go back to the last pipe and rotate it vertically

Follow the flow of the Tonic through the pipes till it passes the horizontally fitted pipe from Step 3. Once the Tonic has passed through that section, rotate the pipe again so that it now fits in the vertical slot.

Step 6: Wait for the Tonic to finish flowing

Once all the steps have been successfully followed, the Tonic will finish flowing and accumulate in a cup at the end of the pipes.

The second part of the puzzle starts once you finish the first part and move on to the next location. This puzzle requires players to time the rightmost frog's jumps accordingly in tune with the beat. Follow these steps to solve the puzzle:

Step 1: Begin the performance

Start the performance by clicking on the 'Begin Performance' button.

Step 2: Time the frog's jumps to the beat

The player controls the rightmost frog's actions. There will be a melody playing, which the player will have to listen to and time the frog jumps to. Click on 'Now's the time!' at the appropriate moment to make the frog jump.

Step 3: Finish the performance

The performance takes place for 50 seconds, during which players will have to keep making the frog jump at the right moments. Once the seconds are up, the performance will be over.

The third and last part of the puzzle requires players to adjust the thread on the alpaca's tail so that it can collect the fruits and put them in the barrel. Follow these steps to solve the puzzle:

Step 1: Connect to the thread on the alpaca's tail to start

Move close to the Alpaca and press 'T' (or just press the equivalent button on mobile devices) to connect yourself with the magic thread on the alpaca's tail.

Step 2: Adjust the alpaca's height by moving closer to/away from it

To collect the fruit from the hamster, you will need to adjust the alpaca so that it's at the correct height to get the fruit. To do this, walk away from it or closer to it. Walking closer to the alpaca will shorten the height of its neck while walking away from it will lengthen the height of its neck.

Step 3: Collect the fruit by pressing the Attack button

Once the alpaca is at the correct height, press the Attack button to collect the fruit from the hamster.

Step 4: Place the fruit in the bowl to the right

After collecting the fruit, move the alpaca so that it drops the fruit into the bowl on the right.

Step 5: Continue doing this and collect all the fruits

Continue adjusting the alpaca's height to keep collecting the fruits and dropping them in the bowl. Once all the fruits have been collected, the puzzle will be solved, and you will get an Exquisite Chest as a reward.
