The new event-exclusive Simulanka region in Genshin Impact version 4.8 is filled with various puzzles and treasure chests. One particular puzzle in the Broken Sea area of the map requires players to help out some Toytanium Miners stuck inside a mine. Doing so will reward you with an Exquisite Chest, providing five Primogems and other in-game resources.

How to solve the Trapped Toytanium Miner puzzle in Genshin Impact

Before you can start the Trapped Toytanium Miner puzzle in Genshin Impact 4.8, you must unlock the Broken Sea region in Simulanka. To do so, you first have to complete the Summertime Scales and Tales: They Once Walked the Starry Sky event quest.

Afterward, you must start the Until the End of the World event quest, during which you will unlock the Broken Sea. Once you have been saved from falling by Wanderer (Scaramouche), you will be free to explore the area.

The Trapped Toytanium Miner puzzle is located in the center of the Broken Sea, on the floating island shown on the map above. To reach the puzzle location, travel to the teleport waypoint on the island to the left, and glide down toward the puzzle location on the bottom-most floor.

Upon reaching it, you can follow these steps to successfully solve the Trapped Toytanium Miner puzzle in Genshin Impact:

• After you reach the marked location, you will see a Toy Bomb nearby. Pick it up and enter the crevice behind it. Here you will come across a Toytanium Block that you can blast with the Toy Bomb.
• This will unlock a passage towards the area where the toy miners are trapped. Venture inside to find the Treasure Hiding Hobbyist and a hole full of trapped miners.

• As you enter, you will find another Toytanium Block on the left and a Toy Bomb on the right. Use the latter to blow up the former.

Install the Toy Flower (Image via HoYoverse)

• Look through the opening created by the explosion, and you will see a Toy Flower outside. Press the "T" key to collect it.
• Go beside the Treasure Hiding Hobbyist and look down the hole. Place the Toy Flower at its designated location.

After you install the Toy Flower in its place, it will trigger a wind current, which will allow the trapped miners to escape. This will complete the puzzle and spawn an Exquisite Chest.
