Genshin Impact Yellow Obsidian Ring locations and where to use it

The Yellow Obsidian Ring in Genshin Impact is a key item used to remove the barrier at the Children of Echoes' secret trove area. You can craft a ring using three Yellow Obsidian Fragments scattered around the Tequemecan Valley and Basin of Unnumbered Flames. However, getting all the fragments can be tricky since they are randomly obtained by opening any high-rarity Chests.

How to Yellow Obsidian Fragments in Genshin Impact

You can find only three Yellow Obsidian Fragments to craft one Ring. As mentioned, each Fragment is randomly obtained by opening any of the Luxurious and Precious Chests in the Tequemecan Valley and Basin of Unnumbered Flames. Since there's RNG involved, you might get them pretty early while exploring the map, or not until you open the last remaining Precious or Luxurious Chests.

In the given locations, you can also obtain the Yellow Obsidian Rings from the Children of Echoes Master Trainers:

• The Great Chase! - Teleport to the waypoint north of the Stadium of the Sacred Flames and go west to find Xiuhyo.
• Quick Digging - Teleport to the eastern waypoint in Sulfurous Veins and head east to find Centaca the Master Trainer.
• Rock Hopping - Teleport to the waypoint in the middle of Sulfurous Veins and go southeast to find Quiltec in a small hut.

Completing each challenge with S-grade will give you three chests, including one Precious Chest. This chest has a chance of dropping one Yellow Obsidian Fragment.

Where to use the Yellow Obsidian Ring in Genshin Impact

Once you've obtained all three Yellow Obsidian Fragments, open your inventory and craft them into a Yellow Obsidian Ring. Next, teleport to the waypoint at "Children of Echoes" and turn around. Go downstairs to see a light blue barrier on the lower level.

Use the Yellow Obsidian Ring to remove the barrier from the Children of Echoes' secret stove. Finally, head inside to collect your rewards, including Mystic's Gold Dial and Sanctifying Elixir.
