Getian in Reverse 1999 deals Reality damage to opponents, and his skills can debuff enemies, generate Eureka for himself, and buff allies. Here is an overview of the character's skills:

  • Old Bones (Basic Skill): This is a debuff skill that deals damage and applies the Shape of Bones status effect on enemies.
  • Unique Bearing (Basic Skill): Getian’s self-channel skill causes him to enter the Bone Reading status effect and generate Eureka.
  • I Shall Walk, Exist, and Know (Ultimate Skill): Getian debuffs the entire opponent’s team. Additionally, he creates a special array, A Prophecy Told, which inflicts the Shape of Bones status effect and gains Eureka.

Explanation of status effects

  • Bone Reading: When active, Getian consumes two Eurekas to cast an attack, Adominition.
  • Adominition: This is a mass attack that deals Reality Damage to enemies under the Shape of Bones status effect.
  • A Prophecy Told: This is an Array effect that increases all team members’ damage. If allies dealing Reality damage attack enemies, they get an additional increase in their damage-dealing ability.
  • Array: This is a battlefield effect that continuously affects characters on the field. Only one type of Array effect can be triggered between that debuffs enemies or buffs allies.

Getian is a Support character in Reverse 1999, and his gameplay focuses on casting as much Ultimate as he can, which buffs allies and debuffs enemies. Moreover, his damage-dealing ability comes from the Adominition effect, which damages all enemies present on the battlefield.

Players wanting to use Getian in their team must upgrade Getian's Inheritance, Bone Interpreter, all the way to the Insight III. At Insight III, he inflicts Shape of Bones on a random enemy every two rounds at the round’s start. On the other hand, he inflicts the A Prophecy Told and gains Eureka at the round’s end. This allows him to buff allies and debuff enemies more.

At Insight I, Getian gets a Critical Rate and Critical Damage buff. Additionally, he gains three Moxie to himself that trigger only once per battle. However, this effect is activated if there are more than three allies who deal Reality damage.

Getian is not a must-pull, but players can get a robust Support hero for a Reality-based team. Moreover, players are highly encouraged to upgrade Getian's Portray to at least level 2. This makes his Bone Interpreter's Insight I effect trigger with two or more allies and boosts his Critical Damage and Critical Rate.
