The Ghost of Tsushima Legends mode offers the multiplayer side of the game, where you can choose to engage in either a two-man or a four-man co-op multiplayer. It offers a slightly different take on the already fantastic gameplay of the game, where you will need to carefully approach and kill off the Mongol Hordes.

What is Ghost of Tsushima Legends mode?

Legends is the co-op gameplay mode where you can team up with either two or four of your friends to experience a variety of challenges. This mode offers four distinct classes for you to choose from according to your playstyle:
- Samurai: The Fighter archetype
- Hunter: If Ranger or Archer class
- Ronin: The Support class
- Assassin: Best for players who prefer stealth
Ghost of Tsushima Legends mode uses both XP and a loot-based progression system. While XP will be calculated on the class you play as, i.e., you will need to play archetype to level them up individually, weapons you acquire as loots can be used by any.

There are four game modes that you can engage in while playing the Ghost of Tsushima Legends mode:
- Quickplay: Connects you to a random survival or story mission in progress.
- Survival: Offers a hardcore four-man horde-based co-op experience where you must hold and defend key locations on a map.
- Story: A two-man co-op game mode where you will experience nine extra chapters.
- Challenge mode: A raid called "Tales of Iyo" which is extremely difficult. It is an endgame content, allowing you and three of your buddies to take on challenging enemies.
How to play Ghost of Tsushima Legends
You can play the Legends mode by either accessing it from the main menu, pausing the game when you play the campaign, or finding an NPC called Legends Storyteller as you explore the besieged islands of Tsushima and Iki. Alternatively, your friends can also invite you, letting you hop directly into this co-op experience by accepting their invitation.
Ghost of Tsushima Legends mode can both work as a way to kill time and grind out all the classes in it, or you can just do the story and go back in your fight against the Mongols as Jin Sakai. It keeps the gameplay loop fresh and offers a chance to have fun with friends.
