The latest title update primarily focuses on fixing AMD-specific issues that many players with Team Red GPUs have been reporting. While Ghost of Tsushima was released in a pretty polished state, which is incredibly rare for modern PC ports, there were still a handful of issues that caused the game to stutter and also crash in some instances.

Ghost of Tsushima PC update 2 official patch notes
Ghost of Tsushima PC, much like Nixxes Software's previous PC ports, released with little-to-no major issues for most players; this is quite surprising considering the current state of AAA PC releases. However, the game wasn't totally flawless, with some players reporting memory leaks, stuttering, and VRAM-related crashing issues.
Nixxes released the first major title update for the game (v1053.0.0522.1042) on May 23, 2024, which primarily addressed the crashing issues many players were facing while using FSR3 Frame Generation. With the latest title update (v1053.2.0524.1422), Nixxes has addressed the crashing issues that some fans were facing.
Here are the official patch notes for Ghost of Tsushima PC's latest title update (v1053.2.0524.1422):
- Stability improvements for AMD Radeon GPUs.
- Various improvements to Legends co-op multiplayer stability and matchmaking.
Apart from fixing the crashing issues on AMD GPUs, the latest title update also addresses the connectivity and stability issues some players were facing with the Legends multiplayer mode. The update weighs in at less than 100 megabytes, which isn't surprising considering it doesn't come with too many changes.
Additionally, after installing the update, the title doesn't even go through a shader pre-compilation step. This indicates that the changes made to the game's code are very minimal and don't necessitate refreshing shaders.
The update also features under-the-hood optimizations, making the game perform much better than on release. While it did face some controversy with the PSN requirement for Legends, the quality of the port has impressed players worldwide, with it being playable even on the Steam Deck.
Nixxes Software has a rather impressive track record of PC titles, with their most recent PC releases, Horizon Forbidden West and Ghost of Tsushima, being heralded as 2024's best PC ports by many players. While both these did have some minor issues at launch, Nixxes have been quite fast at addressing them.
