Ghost of Tsushima PC update 6 official patch notes
Unlike the last two title updates for Ghost of Tsushima on PC, this one is small in size, coming at just 350 megabytes. Previous similar patches have all been more than a gigabyte in size, with Update 4 being roughly 6.5 gigabytes.
However, despite the small file size, there are some really important changes in the new patch.
Here is a list of all the changes and improvements brought to the game with the latest title update (version 1053.6.0709.1130):
- Improvements to memory management.
- Fixed an issue that could cause lighthouses to appear floating in the air when moving away from them.
- Improvements to voice chat quality in Legends mode.
- Resolved an issue that could cause screen space reflections to display incorrectly when changing the upscale quality in the game.
- Resolved an issue that could cause the Continue button to disappear when creating an auto-save file from a manual save or backup save.
- Various stability improvements.
Ghost of Tsushima was released with no major issues on PC, which isn't surprising considering the port comes courtesy of Nixxes Software. This studio's previous PlayStation-to-PC ports have been equally stellar, with titles like Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet Clank: Rift Apart, Marvel's Spider-Man, and Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales under its belt.
That said, Ghost of Tsushima did have a few minor issues after it was launched in May 2024. Although Nixxes fixed a majority of these issues with the previous title updates, the Legends mode still contained some visual and stability bugs that needed addressing, like the audio and connectivity issues.
As is evident by the latest title update, Nixxes is finally focusing on the Legends mode and dealing with the few problems that remain in the game.
Do note that the Legends mode requires you to be logged in with a PlayStation account.
