Ghostrunner 2 launches worldwide on October 26, 2023. So, there are still a few days before players decide on a purchase. However, those who intend to buy the Brutal Edition will get a 48-hour early access perk.
As such, owners of the Brutal Edition can fight the threats plaguing Dharma Tower a little early, on October 24, 2023. Here are the timings for early-access players:
- 9 AM PT
- 12 PM ET
- 5 PM BST

At the end of the day, players should make space for the game before it launches on their preferred platform, whether PC or console.
Ghostrunner 2 Pre-load Download Size
Yes, the publisher has disclosed pre-load times for the game before launch. Standard and Deluxe Edition owners who expect to get their hands on the game on October 26, 2023, can do so on October 24, 2023. Brutal Edition buyers can pre-load the game as it went live on October 22, 2023.
The game file size varied between platforms; the suggested pre-load size on PlayStation 5 is 13 GB. While the Xbox platform file size is unclear, it should be more or less in line with it. PC, on the other hand, demands about 65 GB of space, as per the official system requirements.
Again, this discrepancy between the two versions is huge. Players are also recommended to use an SSD for the best experience on PC, which makes sense considering how fast-paced Ghostrunner 2 is.
Since consoles already utilize custom SSDs, PlayStation and Xbox players have nothing to worry about. Those who find the game intriguing should check out our Ghostrunner 2 review to see if it's up to their tastes and worth a pre-order.
