Goblin Cage Evolution in Clash Royale is set to be released on August 5, 2024. The Goblin Cage is a rare card that spawns a building, which, upon destruction, releases a Goblin Brawler. Its evolution will give the defense troop some extra abilities and stat boosts. To acquire it, players must collect six Goblin Cage Evolution Shards. Additionally, it will be the first building to have an evolution.

Goblin Cage Evolution in Clash Royale: Details

Ability

The Evolved Goblin Brawler can pull foes inside his cage and deal damage. A level 11 Evolved Goblin Cage will do 306 damage per second. The range of this ability is three tiles, meaning it will be useful against melee units. Once an enemy troop is pulled inside, it will not deal any damage to the cage or the goblin. The troop will stay trapped until it perishes or the cage is destroyed. However, most ranged attackers will stay out of the ability range.

Additionally, the ability will not be effective against underground troops, clones, buildings, and air-bourne troops. Ground troops, while jumping or dashing, will also be immune to this ability. Once the Goblin Brawler is unleashed, it will not pull any troops towards himself.

Stats

The stats of the evolved Goblin Cage are not too different from its unevolved counterpart. Following are the stats of a level 11 evolved Goblin Cage.

Upon evolution, the unleashed Goblin Brawler gains 10% extra HP so he can sustain a few more hits. The remaining stats stay the same.

Players must complete one cycle of Goblin Cage to acquire the evolution for the battle, meaning, every other Goblin Cage will be evolved. For now, the fastest way to unlock the Evolution is to buy the Diamond or the Gold pass.
