The game's first unique long course called Circuito de la Sierra, which takes inspiration from the Ronda region of Spain, is also included in the patch. It's the performance ground for players to try and complete a lap within an allotted time, as the countdown extended every time you pass through one of 12 checkpoints. Collisions will decrease your combo score while overtaking vehicles and passing speed traps will increase it. Racers playing on offline single player and online race modes will also be to access the course.
And last but not the least, you can now select the rules and regulations you want for a given event and racers will be matched with similar players from around the world who are looking for the same type of game, all thanks to the addition of an Online Quick Match feature.
Despite rumours about Gran Turismo 6 being re-done for PS4, all that’s known for certain is that the franchise's debut on next-gen will be Gran Turismo 7 which is in development, but won't be ready this year.
