Across the campaign of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, players can acquire any of the 127 Echoes found across the map, and require certain criteria to be completed to acquire them. Using Echoes during gameplay can make traversal, battle, and health regeneration easier for Zelda. Though there are many echoes available, not all of them will be accessible or easy to get during the initial stages of the game.

Best early-game Echoes to get in Legends of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom
1) Bombfish
Found in Jabul Waters, this Echo can help act as an alternative to the standard bombs which are not unlocked until later in the game. These are very helpful in defeating underwater enemies, and Zelda is immune to damage from the explosions.
Initial energy cost of this Echo: 4 Energy
2) Trampoline
Found in Suthorn, the Trampoline Echo, as the name suggests, helps Zelda get to inaccessible and tall places with some ease. Given that later-game echoes can help Zelda reach higher places without much challenge, the Trampoline is very beneficial for the early game.

3) Peahat
The Peahat Echo can be acquired after defeating an enemy of the same name. Found in the Suthorn Forest, defeating the Peahat enemy will provide Zelda with the Echo, which can then be used to fly toward any enemy and damage it.

4) Old Bed
Any Bed spell is useful in the early game, and Old Bed is one of the echoes that can be used to achieve this. This Echo can be stacked to help Zelda reach inaccessible locations situated at heights, and the bed can also be used to help heal. Though the rate of healing is not as rapid, it is still very beneficial in gameplay.

5) Flying Tile
As the name suggests, this Echo can be used to traverse large gaps that cannot be navigated simply by jumping. Horizontal gaps become much easier to traverse, and this Echo is also required for the completion of a side quest.
