GTA: San Andreas to be Re-released for Xbox 360 and the Achievements List unveiled

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to be re-released for Xbox 360

Rockstar has confirmed in their support page that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be re-released and available for purchase in Xbox Marketplace. They said,

“GTA: San Andreas on the Xbox Marketplace will be available again for purchase beginning October 26th, 2014, through Games on Demand. This version features 720p resolution, enhanced draw distance, and Achievement support.”

Rockstar also stated that the save files cannot be transferred from Xbox Originals but still have access to old version on their consoles,

The Games on Demand version of San Andreas is not compatible with the Xbox Originals version. Save files will not transfer from Xbox Originals. Owners of the Xbox Originals version will still have access to the old version on their consoles and through their download history, with the option to purchase the new version to experience the added features on a new save file.

The achievement list for the game was released in Xbox Achievements. It is said there are 33 achievements totalling to a gamerscore of 1000. Some of them include, completing the story, completing various activities and watching the end credits till end.

To celebrate San Andreas's 10th anniversary, Rockstar is hosting a weekend-long celebration of the game in Grand Theft Auto Online, including double GTA $, double RP, and special clothing.
