Gundam Evolution is a team-based FPS game developed by Bandai Namco Online and released by Bandai Namco Entertainment that allows gamers to pilot monolithic mechs and engage in fast-paced battles. The game's goal has been to capture all of the action from the blockbuster anime series by granting pilots access to a wide range of lethal mechs.

Gundam Evolution will be released with a roster of 12 playable Mobile Suits, pitting players against one another in 6v6 PvP combat across three objective-based game modes. However, in order to dominate your mechanized opponents, you must master and toggle between the game's monolithic mechs.

Each unit has a distinct playstyle, attack abilities, support roles, and HP levels. Team members that collaborate and synchronize their attacks, similar to Overwatch, will be able to maximize their damage and opportunities of securing game-winning plays.

Gundam Evolution will be available on Steam on September 22nd, 2022, but those interested in playing on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One will have to wait a little longer. That has been confirmed by the official Bandai Namco website with the release date set for 1st of December 2022.

Gundam Evolution will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There is currently no word as to whether the game will be launched on the Nintendo Switch, and thus those hoping to enjoy the mech-based action on that platform may be disappointed.
