Tundra Esports has eliminated Team Falcons from TI 13, leaving only three European Dota 2 teams in the running. The energetic end to this 2-0 lower bracket semifinal drubbing leaves the Falcons with $153,000, a fourth-place finish, and a few lines of reassuring all-chat from Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, something sure to become the talk of the Dota 2 town today.

Gaining a 25k Net Gold lead and emphatically securing all the Barracks, Tundra offlaner Ramzes rung the death knell over all chat:

"Guy, it's over."

A co-incidental Dota 2 stand-in was the undoing of Team Falcon in The International this year

The show-stealer in the second map between Team Falcons and Tundra Esports was a stand-in for the latter. Martin "Saksa" Sazdov was only picked up from the reserve couch because Tundra's original position-4 Edgar "9Class" Naltakian could not make it to TI due to visa issues. Yet, with game-deciding Hookshot after Hookshot, Saksa is very much the MVP of the series.

Team Falcons had a promising showing across the many tier-1 tournaments this year. The top representatives of the newly formed MENA region, Falcons has earned its stripes with four first-place finishes in these tournaments, leading to a direct invite to Dota 2 TI 13.

Team Falcons has incited many rivalries due to its proclivity towards all-chatting and provocative banter. With ex-OG Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf in tow, it's a given—but its most prominent all-chatter this year has been young midlaner Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak.

As it turns out, Malr1ne had been the spearhead of some frenemy banter between Team Falcons and Ramzes. Early into this second match of a best-of-three series, Ramzes was on the back foot due to a rough landing phase on his Doom, which perhaps made the series win all the more rewarding for him.

The banter also included some parenthesis-typing, and an exchange of equals, i.e. "= =", the true meaning of which remains somewhat ambiguous.

With this closing series, all of today's TI matchups have been 2-0 washes, which is an uncommon phenomenon in a competitive neck-to-neck tournament. With this series win, Tundra Esports has cemented its third-place finish at least, and a third-time TI win for midlaner Topias "Topson" Tavitseinen if things go well in the two finals tomorrow.
