The first and most crucial tip when it comes to playing as a Seeker is that players must always have their eyes peeled for the Golden Snitch. This elusive entity keeps fluttering across the skies, and in the chaos of the match, it can often get lost. Your job, as a Seeker, is to constantly keep track of this item and chase it till you get your hands on it.

2) Take notice of your surroundings

The only job a Seeker has is to catch the Golden Snitch. However, that only makes the game tougher. Not only do you have to keep your focus on the Golden Snitch, but you have to strategically ignore, and stay safe from the humdrum of the entire Quidditch match.

This essentially means that, while your eyes are set on the Snitch, you have to simultaneously ensure that you steer clear of Beaters, ignore the Quaffle when it comes your way, dodge Chasers, and solely focus on catching the elusive Snitch. It might take some time to get used to this position, but when you do get into the groove, you'll feel extremely comfortable in it.

3) Drift and weave

The Snitch is extremely elusive. It takes erratic turns, and constantly bounces off the invisible boundaries in the game. You cannot merely chase it around by swapping directions slowly. You have to use the 'Drift' feature in the game to take sharp turns and not lose track of the Snitch. Weave through the different obstacles using the 'Evade' feature, and ensure you stay on track. Using these two in-game features will provide a much-needed boost to keep tailing the Golden Snitch.

4) Don't miss out on the rings

As the Snitch flies across the sky in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions, it will leave behind a trail of golden rings in the game. These rings provide players with a much-needed speed boost, allowing them to effectively chase the Snitch down and fill up the meter that determines whether they can catch it.

While you might not be able to zoom through all the speed rings dropped by the Snitch, it is intrinsic that you try and push through as many as you can to have a better chance at getting your hands on the Snitch over your rival Seeker.

As you tail the Snitch, you will see a small meter filling up underneath it. This determines your chances of successfully grabbing it in the air. As a general rule, you cannot even attempt to grab the Snitch until this focus bar turns blue in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions. If you want to get ahead of your opponent, you must tail the Snitch constantly and stay focused on it for the entire duration. This will slowly fill up the meter till it is blue, providing you with a prompt to grab the Snitch.
