8 heroes that players want to see added in Marvel Rivals in 2025

NetEase certainly has big plans for Marvel Rivals in 2025, including the addition of new characters, maps, game modes, and events. The pages of the comic books are full of interesting and fan-favorite heroes and villains who might eventually get added to the game in the near future. This does bring up the question that who might be the next addition to the roster of Marvel Rivals.

This article will go over a few such heroes who many in the community want to see added to Marvel Rivals in 2025.

Characters who fans want to see added in Marvel Rivals in 2025

1) Quicksilver

Wanda's twin brother Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver has certainly been one of the fan-favorite characters for decades, especially after his appearance in both Fox's X-Men: Days of Future Past and MCU's Avengers: Age of Ultron movies. While both his sister and father (Magneto) are in the game, Quicksilver is yet to make an appearance.

Many fans want Pietro to make an appearance and he can perfectly suit the role of a fast-paced flanker who can go behind enemy lines. With a year full of content ahead, this may end up happening to Marvel Rivals in 2025.


2) Jean Grey/Phoenix

Jean Grey is easily one of the top picks for many people who want to see more X-Men characters in Marvel Rivals. NetEase can make another Strategist with her, where she can use her psionic abilities to buff allies and similar to Loki, can create clones of herself or teammates using Astral Projection.

NetEase can even test the waters with her Phoenix abilities to make one of the most fun characters that the game can get.

When it comes to fan-favorite characters, one of the most requested is Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool. The Merc with a Mouth can easily become a versatile DPS who excels in close-quarter combats. Many people want Wade Wilson in the game, especially hoping that NetEase will add him to the playable roster of Marvel Rivals in 2025.

This will also give Nolan North a chance to reprise his role as the Merc with a Mouth, and NetEase can even test out new team-up abilities with Logan aka Wolverine.


4) Cyclops

Scott Summers is also another fan-favorite mutant who might get added to the roster of Marvel Rivals in 2025. His energy beam ability can come in handy as a DPS who fights in the front lines.

Currently, only Wolverine and Storm from the superhero team are in the game, and Scott Summers can make a worthwhile addition alongside his fellow teammates.


5) The Thing

Most superhero teams, like the Avengers, X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc, have made it to the game, but the game has yet to introduce even a single member from the first Marvel family. Many in the community agree that Ben Grimm should make his way to Marvel Rivals soon, especially as a Vanguard hero.

Ben's abilities can revolve around him tanking damage due to his rock-hard skin, or even using some geo constructs to shield allies. It will be interesting to see how the Thing works out if NetEase decides to make him one of the playable characters in the near future.


6) Silver Surfer

Silver Surfer is among the favorites that fans want to be added to Marvel Rivals in 2025.

Silver Surfer can make for an excellent Strategist in Marvel Rivals who can shield his allies as well as heal them. NetEase can also make him one of the fastest support characters in the game, as he can ride his surfboard to the battle quickly and provide necessary aid to the team.


7) Vision

Vision can also make for a great addition to the hero line-up in Marvel Rivals. His kit could be tailored as a healer or a strategist, where he can use his Solar Beam to heal allies as well as damage enemies in an area. NetEase can also play with the idea of giving him his flight ability, where players will carefully need to position him or fly up to get a lay of the battle arena.

Given Vision's popularity since his MCU debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron, he is one of the many heroes that fans want added to Marvel Rivals in 2025.


8) Blade

Wesley Snipe's iconic portrayal of the vampire hunter can be attributed to one of the reasons behind comic book movies becoming popular. But to the surprise of many, Blade is yet to make an appearance in the game. He can easily work as a Duelist character, with some form of self-sustain that might make him an ideal flanker.

Blade is one of the many characters that fans want to see added to Marvel Rivals in 2025.
