Since arriving in version 1.5, she has played an important part in various team compositions that are constructed with DPS characters with high Energy. This Honkai Star Rail 2.4 leak comes courtesy of the third-party source Block leak. The leak suggests that Huohuo will likely return in the upcoming Honkai Star Rail version 2.4 as one of the rerun characters. When she first debuted, many players didn't roll for her fearing the kit would become underwhelming due to meta changes.
In the current meta, Huohuo is one of the must-have characters when building a DoT (Damage over Time) team composition including Black Swan, and Kafka. It is also one of the most popular teams in version 2.2’s Memory of Chaos clears. Since Huohuo can heal and grant buffs to allies, her popularity has risen quite a bit.
The developers have already announced the upcoming 5-star character lineup for Honkai Star Rail 2.4 in the recent drip marketing campaign. As per the usual tradition, the first character revealed is released in the first half, the same rule applies to the second character as well.
