Honkai Star Rail 2.4 early patch notes

New Area - The Shackling Prison

Honkai Star Rail's version 2.4 is called "Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue" and will introduce a brand-new area to the game. The new map expansion of The Shackling Prison will be an underground prison said to be located under the Xianzhou Luofu. Trailblazers will be able to explore the area in the update.

New characters and Light Cones

HSR's 2.4 update will feature two new 5-star playable characters called Yunli and Jiaoqiu. While the former is a Physical unit from the Path of Destruction, the latter is a Fire character from the Path of Nihility.

Moreover, Huohuo and Sparkle will also return to the game during this period.

Here is the banner order for the update:

• First half: Yunli and Huohuo as 5-stars, alongside Hanya, Yukong, and Lynx as 4-stars
• Second half: Jiaoqiu and Sparkle as 5-stars, alongside Hook, Guinaiffen, and Arlan as 4-stars

Moreover, the 2.4 update will introduce three new Light Cones, including the signatures of Yunli and Jiaoqiu, and a new 4-star Light Cones. Let's look at all the additions:

New missions

The 2.4 update will bring a new Trailblaze Continuance mission, called "March to Mastery: A Star Is Born" to the Xianzhou Luofu region. Trailblazers will return to this location for the Wardance and engage with many familiar faces and some new ones.

Players will also be able to unlock March 7th's Path of The Hunt during v2.4, which will grant her a new look. However, they must be at least Trailblaze Level 21 to participate and complete the Trailblaze Mission "Xianzhou Luofu - Obsequies Performed, A Long Road Ahead."

The update will also introduce a new Companion Mission for the upcoming 5-star, Yunli.

Honkai Star Rail's version 2.4 will feature plenty of events that will reward players with Stellar Jades and other in-game items. As per the patch notes, the following events will occur during the update:

• Saga of Primaveral Blade
• Operation Memoria Snapshot
• Trailblaze: Friendship Is Magic!
• Plannar Fissure
• Garden of Plenty

Moreover, the Gift of Odyssesy log-in campaign will also return during v2.4. By opening the game for seven days, the Trailblazers can get 10 pulls.

QoL changes

HSR 2.4 update will make several quality-of-life changes intended to enhance the player experience. Here are all the upcoming changes according to the patch notes:

• A new Subsidiary Stats option will be added to the Relic screen, allowing players to filter them based on the sub-stats.
• Suitable main stats and sub-stats for a character on a Relic will be highlighted.
• Optimizations to the display order of recommended Relics.
• Optimizations to the Relic filtering system.
• Players can now make up to 30 schemes which can be used for quick filtering.
• The game will display recommended characters for certain Relic sets in the Caverns of Corrosion, Planar Ornament Extraction, and Simulated Universe.
