New characters, reruns, and Light Cones

Suday and Fugue banners are heading to HSR 2.7

The Honkai Star Rail 2.7 banners will feature two new 5-star characters, Sunday and Fugue. The former is an Imaginary unit who follows the Harmony Path. Fugue will join the Fire roster and tread the Path of Nihility.

Both units will be accompanied by Jing Yuan and Firefly on a separate rerun warp. Here's the exact banner order for the update:

First half

• 5-stars: Sunday and Jing Yuan
• 4-stars: Arlan, Qingque, and Tingyun

Second half

• 5-stars: Fugue and Firefly
• 4-stars: Gallagher, Misha, and Yukong

The following are the two new Light Cones featured in HSR 2.7:

• A Grounded Ascent (5-star, Harmony)
• Long Road Leads Home (5-star, Nihility)

New Trailblaze mission

Version 2.7 will introduce a new Trailblaze mission to further the narrative. During the quest, the Astral Express will bid farewell to Penacony and prepare to venture to the next planet. Players can use the Finality’s Vision function to access the story without completing the prerequisites.

Events

The Honkai Star Rail 2.7 event schedule isn’t as packed as the previous updates. However, players can still participate in content to earn Stellar Jades. The following are the events featured in the patch:

• Cosmic Home Decor Guide
• Between the Frames
• Gift of Odyssey
• Realm of the Strange
• Planar Fissure
• Express Gift event

Through the Express Gift event, players can obtain one of the standard 5-star units for free.

Party Car and Trailblazer’s Room

In patch 2.7, Party Car and Trailblazer’s Room will be added to the Astral Express via the Cosmic Home Decor Guide event. Players can decorate the space with different pieces of furniture and other accessories, somewhat similar to the Serenitea Pot from Genshin Impact. In exchange they can obtain rewards like Self-Modeling Resin, Stellar Jade, Pom-Pom’s outfit, and more.

QoL changes

Here’s a list of QoL changes for the Honkai Star Rail 2.7 update:

• Recap feature to view your story to date. This will help you revisit the plot.
• Save files in Divergent Universe will last till the new update.
• New Equations, Curios, and other adjustments in the Divergent Universe.
• Grit Mechanics in Pure Fiction will grant bonus effects against the enemies.
• New adjustments to Memory of Chaos will allow you to unlock previous stages after completing the ninth floor.
