Honkai Star Rail 3.0 free March 7th skin officially revealed

The recently concluded Honkai Star Rail 3.0 livestream officially revealed the new March 7th skin that will be coming to the game with the upcoming update. This skin is the same outfit that March was dressed in for one solitary Trailblaze quest in Honkai Star Rail 1.4 (and never again). Ever since then, players had been wondering when that particular March outfit would be available as a skin in the game, and now we finally have an answer.

March 7th skin is finally coming to Honkai Star Rail in version 3.0

As officially announced by HoYoverse, March 7th's new skin, called "Nascent Spring", will be available to all players for free in Honkai Star Rail 3.0. This skin is available only for March 7th's Preservation form, and not her Hunt form. Once equipped, March 7th will wear this outfit for both exploration and combat.

Interestingly, March 7th's new skin is the first alternate skin/outfit to be introduced in Honkai Star Rail. No other character (either 5-star or 4-star) has previously gotten a skin in the game. Players had been speculating about a possible future March 7th skin ever since she made an appearance in her new outfit in version 1.4. One year later — in version 3.0 — these speculations will finally be coming true.

How to obtain March 7th's new skin

March 7th's new skin "Nascent Spring" will be available for free to players during Honkai Star Rail 3.0. It can be obtained during the version 3.0 event dubbed "Fashion Guide of the Cosmos", which will last from January 15, 2025, to February 26, 2025 (therefore, the entirety of the 3.0 patch).

In order to get March 7th's skin, players simply need to log in to Honkai Star Rail during version 3.0 and claim the Nascent Spring outfit from the Fashion Guide of the Cosmos event page. After claiming it, a corresponding avatar for her new outfit will be unlocked as well. Keep in mind that each player can claim the skin only once.

After version 3.0 is over, this skin will not be free anymore. Instead, it will be available for purchase from the in-game Contract Store for 1680 Oneiric Shards.
