The maintenance before the Honkai Star Rail 3.0 update is scheduled to commence on January 15, 2025, at 6 am (UTC+8). HoYoverse will take roughly five hours to wrap up the entire process. As such, players can expect patch 3.0 to go live on the same day by 11 am (UTC+8).

The developer will shut down all the servers simultaneously, so no one can access the game until the new update. To help Trailblazers track the occasion, we detailed maintenance downtime duration and schedule for the major regions in the following section.

HoYoverse will compensate players with 600x Stellar Jade in Honkai Star Rail for any inconveniences caused due to maintenance. The compensation will be delivered via the in-game mailing system. Bear in mind that only those who’ve reached Trailblaze Level 4 before the downtime will be eligible to claim the free currency.
