Expected announcement dates of Honkai Star Rail 3.1 characters
The Honkai Star Rail 3.1 character announcement a.k.a drip marketing campaign is expected to begin on December 31, 2024. Since most of the Amphoreus characters are likely 5-star characters, HoYoverse will probably reveal two characters while the campaign is active. This means the developers will post two announcements over the course of two days. Hence, the drip marketing campaign will supposedly end on January 1st, 2025.
The two characters that will likely be revealed during the campaign are Mydei and Tribbie. They were showcased and officially unveiled as a part of the Amphoreus characters in the version 2.7 live broadcast.

Since HoYoverse has yet to reveal the characters, it is quite hard to predict who will be featured in which phase of the update. Hence, we will be listing the release dates of each of the Honkai Star Rail 3.1 phases.
If the developers follow the usual 42-day patch cycle, the first phase of version 3.1 is expected to commence on 26th February 2025. In line with the 21-day banner/phase cycle, the second half of the patch should begin on 19th March 2025.
