Most Honkai Star Rail patches usually follow the 42-day patch cycle. Hence, if the developers stick to the identical pattern, players can expect Honkai Star Rail 3.1’s release by around February 26, 2025. Since version 3.0 is set to be released on January 15, if we count 42 days after the patch releases, we’ll end up on February 26.

HoYoverse has officially revealed the 5-star characters who will become playable when Honkai Star Rail 3.1 debuts. Per the official drip marketing campaign, Tribbie and Mydei will be released during the patch.

Following the usual pattern of the announcements, Tribbie will likely be the 5-star to debut along with the patch in the first phase. Similarly, Mydei’s limited-time banner will go live during the second phase and expire right before version 3.2 becomes available.

Along with version 3.1, various events will make their way into the game. With each update, HoYoverse releases a major event that grants a significant number of Stellar Jades. Hence, it’s evident that a major event will be released during the patch. Moreover, if players miss some parts of the event while it's active, Trailblazers can still participate after the patch ends through the Conventional Memoir feature.
