Among the other Preservation units, this one has one of the most distinctive kits. Aventurine is a new Imaginary element character in Honkai Star Rail who has a unique skill set. Here is a complete list of all his abilities:

Skill: He can provide his companions with a shield that can defend against damage, depending on the percentage of Aventurine's DEF. Repeating the shielding effect increases its stacking power by 200%.
Ultimate: Gives allies a random boost of one to seven points known as a blind bet. Moreover, it leaves foes with a debuff called Unnerved. When allies strike debuffed opponents, they will inflict Imaginary damage that is based on Aventuine's DEF and increased Crit Damage stats.
Talent: He will earn one stack of Blind Bet when an ally with a skill-based shield gets hit, and allies with shields will get Effect Res. He will suffer crowd control debuffs if his skill is shielded. When he reaches seven stacks in Blind Bet, random enemies will receive a seven-hit follow-up attack from him. The Blind Bet buff can be stacked up to 10 times.

The new 5-star Preservation unit's skill provides his team with a shield. His ultimate is a debuff that makes the opponent take more CRIT DMG hits, and his talent is a damage-dealing ability that increases the damage of his follow-up ATK. Priority-wise, talent and ultimate are interchangeable according to the player's preference, but skill is the most crucial.

When it comes to leveling his traces, players should prioritize as follows:

Skill > Talent > Ultimate > Basic ATK.

Aventurine ideal stats in Honkai Star Rail

Players are recommended to aim for 4000 DEF to have a strong Aventurine build in Honkai Star Rail's late game. The goal for novice and intermediate players should be maximizing DEF. High DEF increases a Preservation character's damage, shields, and even CRIT rate, so this attribute is crucial.

Prioritize DEF% main stats in the early game for all equipment slots (Orb, Rope, Body, Boots), as his shields come from his skill instead of his ultimate, unlike Gepard. For maximal damage output later on, strive for a CRIT DMG% Body with CRIT Rate% and CRIT DMG% substats.

In the late game, players should handle his stats as follows:

Reach 4000 DEF to grant Aventurine a 48% free CRIT Rate.
His basic CRIT Rate is 5%, resulting in a CRIT Rate of 53% (48%+5%).
With a base CRIT DMG of 50% and a body CRIT Damage% of 62%. It will be 112% CRIT DMG in total.

If players use a main stat CRIT Damage body, they can obtain a build without substats that has a CRIT Rate of 53% and CRIT DMG of 112%.

With minimum expenditure, a very strong build with 70% CRIT Rate and 140% CRIT DMG can be achieved by obtaining substats that provide around 17% CRIT Rate and 28% CRIT DMG over six relics.

Aventurine's signature Inherently Unjust Destiny is the best Light Cone for him. When an ally grants a shield, the wearer earns 40% more DEF and CRIT DMG. Furthermore, there is a 100% chance that the targeted party will take more damage from the wearer's next attack.

In terms of F2P alternatives, players can choose Moment of Victory from the Starlight Exchange store. It provides the wearer with DEF and Effect Hit Rate. When the wearer is hit, they gain an extra DEF stat that lasts until the end of the turn.

The Knight of Purity Palace four-piece set is recommended for Aventurine. CRIT Damage/DEF for the body piece and DEF/SPD for the leg armor should be the top priorities. If he is going to be the team's only tank unit, players should go for high DEF. The other stats, such as SPD and CRIT Damage, are intended for a more active DPS/tank hybrid strategy.

Broken Keel is the ideal choice for a Support build. The set bonus can be activated without requiring extra substats, as Aventurine already provides 50% Effect RES to the entire party. Not many players may notice this at first, but he can also make it easier for other supports in your teams to run Broken Keel.

Inert Salsotto is also an excellent choice if players wish to boost their damage. It boosts the character's follow-up damage and gives him some free CRIT Rate. For a more defensive build, Belobog of The Architects is likewise acceptable to utilize.
