Honkai Star Rail: Best teams for Stellar Shimmer Surprise Party (Day 3)

The Honkai Star Rail Stellar Shimmer event is in full swing, allowing you to get a few Stellar Jades by completing a set of challenges. Each combat stage is unlocked daily, and for Day 3 you will face the Surprise Party challenge. Similar to the Cycle of Suffering challenge, you will have to set up a team according to the enemies' weaknesses and complete the stage quickly.

Best team compositions for the Honkai Star Rail Stellar Shimmer event Surprise Party stage

The Surprise Party stage in the Honkai Star Rail Stellar Shimmer event is catered towards Follow-Up Attack squad setups. The buff will push forward an item called Giftbox when an ally takes action. When it's the Giftbox's turn, it will increase damage for the team, regenerate energy, and break enemy weaknesses. You can extend the Weakness Broken state whenever an ally deals one instance of attack to the enemies.

Now, let's review a few team comps who can take advantage of this buff.

Topaz. Dr. Ratio, Aventurine, and Robin

This is arguably the best team setup to quickly clear the objectives as all the team members have Follow-Up attacks in their kit. Make sure you have Robin and Topaz ready, as they will be available on trial. Most of you will have Dr. Ratio as well, since he was free till version 2.1. Last but not least, Aventurine can provide sustain to this team.

Topaz, Jing Yuan, Robin, Aventurine

Dr. Ratio will be replaced by Jing Yuan in this team for the Surprise Party stage of the Honkai Star Rail Stellar Shimmer event. Jing Yuan has his Lightning Lord Follow-Up Attack but it is very slow. However, you will need to rely on his skill hits most of the time to deal damage and break enemy toughness quickly.

Topaz, Kafka, Robin, Aventurine

This team will work perfectly fine, although Kafka won't be able to trigger her usual DoTs often. She is still a great DPS choice due to her FUA attacks and AoE hits, which will make quick work of enemies.

Topaz, Himeko, Robin, Aventurine

Replacing Dr. Ratio with Himeko will allow you to get an extra fire AoE DPS. But Himeko will be significantly weaker compared to DPS units mentioned in the previous team setups. She can still get the job done, however, as most of the enemies will have fire weakness, allowing her to break their toughness and trigger FUA easily.
