This team focuses on Firefly as the main damage dealer while Fugue and Ruan Mei buff her. The best part about including Ruan Mei in this team is the fact that her team-wide Break Effect buffs can help Fugue double down as a second damage dealer as well. The best part about this is the fact that the latest version of Tingyun will be able to buff Super Break as well, leading to toughness-broken enemies taking even more damage.

Both Gallagher and Lingsha in Honkai Star Rail can debuff enemies to take more break damage while being able to sustain and deal damage as well. This makes all of the team members, except Ruan Mei, capable of shredding the opponent's toughness bar and then landing some Super Break damage to quickly take them down.

2) Rappa, Fugue, Ruan Mei, Lingsha/ Gallagher

Rappa is another character who relies on a break-based team to deal damage. Similar to how Firefly's team works, this Fugue team can also decimate enemy toughness bars and take down even the most elite foes easily. The only key difference is the change in the damage dealer, as instead of the Stellaron Hunter, you will use the Galaxy Ranger.

Fugue's introduction to the game will allow you to slot Firefly and Rappa in separate teams in the end-game content. The previous restriction of break teams being limited to rely on the same few characters is mostly gone, given you have all of the necessary characters available and built.

3) Sunday, Boothill, Fugue, Lingsha/ Gallagher

Another great Fugue team in Honkai Star Rail you can form is her with Sunday, Boothill, and Lingsha or Gallagher as sustenance. Fugue and Sunday can buff the Galaxy Ranger's damage, as Boothill is a single-target break DPS, allowing him to devastate your foes.

Similar to other teams, Gallagher or Lingsha will be the sustenance, with the added bonus of their ability to debuff enemies. If you need some extra firepower, you can use Sunday to recharge Fugue's ultimate, allowing you to melt enemies with Fire weakness.

4) Xueyi, Fugue, Harmony MC, Gallager

For free-to-play players who don't have access to many of the premiere Break DPS characters, Xueyi can be an excellent choice. Similar to other Fugue team setups in Honkai Star Rail, this squad relies on Harmony MC and our Foxian friend to effectively buff Xueyi. This team is great at reducing enemies to dust after you deplete their toughness bar as both Harmony Trailblazer and Fugue buff Super Break damage.

Fugue can also act as a sub-DPS character, and Gallagher can double down as a healer who can mark enemies to take more damage, and help the team to reduce the toughness of enemies who are weak to fire. This team works just fine, but given it is a free setup, you should expect a relative drop in performance compared to the premium Fugue teams.

Many people may want to know if a Fugue team can be created with Acheron in Honkai Star Rail. The answer is yes, but it won't be as effective as the emanator of Nihility relies on enemies taking debuffs to gain her ultimate stacks, while Fugue only brings a damage increase for Break-based characters.

It is somewhat possible to run both together by giving Fugue the 4-star Lightcone, Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat, but it is better to run someone like Black Swan, Jiaoqiu, Pela, or Silver Wolf instead.
