Honkai Star Rail Jiaoqiu leaks: All abilities, skills, and other rumors

Jiaoqiu was recently announced during the Honkai Star Rail drip marketing for version 2.4. Ahead of his release, a leak on Reddit by HomDGCat discloses most of his abilities. Since he is scheduled to be released during version 2.4, Trailblazers can somewhat get a grasp on how his abilities and kit work so they can plan which character they should be pulling in the aforementioned version.

A recent Honkai Star Rail leak on Reddit reveals Jiaoqiu’s abilities and Traces ahead of his release

As Jiaoqiu is a Path of Nihility character in Honkai Star Rail, he is expected to specialize in dealing damage through DoTs (Damage over Time). Jiaoqiu’s rumoured abilities are listed in the following section:

• Basic ATK: Jiaoqiu unleashes an attack on a single target that deals Fire damage. This attack has a chance of inflicting a stack of Flavour.
• Skill: Attacks three adjacent adversaries and has a chance of inflicting a stack of Flavour. The chance to inflict Flavour is exceptionally high for the main target while the chance for the adjacent enemies is equivalent to the Basic ATK’s chance.
• Ultimate: Upon activation, deals Fire damage to all opponents while also inflicting a stack of Flavour on them. Additionally, Jiaoqiu applies an aura on himself which automatically increases the opponent’s Flavour stacks to the maximum number.

Passive Talent

1. Flavour: Lowers the opponent’s DEF, and is stackable. When stacked, the second stack of DEF reduction will lose its potency.
2. Aura: Every ally’s turn will be healed at the start of their turn. The healing scales with Jiaoqiu’s ATK and while the Aura is active, all adversaries take an extensive amount of damage from all ally’s ultimate abilities.
3. Extra Effect: When Jiaoqiu is active on the field, all opponents will receive a debuff.

Jiaoqiu’s leaked Traces are as follows:

• Trace One: When Aura is active, Jiaoqiu deals additional Fire damage when an opponent starts their turn.
• Trace Two: Jiaoqiu replenishes some of his Energy.
• Trace Three: While Aura is active, when a new adversary enters the fight, If they have no stacks of Flavour or every opponent has stacks that are lower than a certain number, their Flavour stacks will be set to a pre-specified number.
• Or else, the stacks will be set to the highest number that an opponent has in their possession.
