Honkai Star Rail Mydei gameplay leaks explored
The latest Honkai Star Rail drip marketing campaign has officially revealed Mydei, as an upcoming 5-star Destruction character from the Imaginary roster. Leaks from Dimbreath further show his in-game animations from the closed beta and abilities in action.
Mydei uses his fist to unleash attacks and activate his technique. He snaps his fingers to pull enemies within a certain area and inflicts Daze on them. This will prevent the target from attacking allies. They will receive additional Imaginary DMG upon entering the battle.
Upon activating the skill, Mydei consumes his own HP to deal damage to multiple enemies. He basically punches the ground to summon crystalline structures, which hit the opponent from underneath. The character also gains Charge upon losing HP to enter the “Vendetta” state.
Mydei can unleash an Enhanced Skill, where he lunges toward an enemy and slams the ground, dealing massive AoE damage. The attack, like his other abilities, deals Imaginary DMG based on his max health. Hence, players might want to build him with the equipment with HP stats.
Mydei’s leaked kit is incomplete without the Ultimate. Upon activating the ability, he shatters a gigantic crystal on a designated enemy and deals damage to adjacent targets. Overall, Mydei’s abilities from closed beta are quite complex, unlike his gameplay visuals.
Speaking of which, he has a couple of idle animations, including the one where he summons a crimson energy orb in his palm. Alternatively, he sips from a wine glass.
