Blade’s abilities
Blade will be one of the playable Wind characters in Honkai Star Rail, treading on the “Destruction” Path. Hence, most of his abilities will execute AoE damage during combat. Based on the Closed Beta Test data, here is a breakdown of his entire kit at level one:
- Basic ATK: Inflicts Wind DMG equal to 50% of his ATK on a single enemy.
- Skill: Consumes 30% of his own HP to increase this Basic ATK DMG by 12% for three turns. Additionally, his turn will Advance forward by 100%, and the skill locks as long as he is in the buff state.
- Ultimate: Deals Wind DMG equal to 28.8% of his ATK and 72% of his HP to a targeted enemy. It also inflicts 14.4% of ATK and 36% of HP as DMG to adjacent enemies. His HP will be reduced to 50% after using the ability.
- Talent: On taking DMG, he gains a stack that caps out at five. On reaching the max threshold, he consumes them to unleash a follow-up ATK to all his opponents that deal 21% of his ATK and 54% of his HP as Wind DMG. It also restores his HP by 30% of his max health.
- Technique: Deals Wind DMG equal to 40% of his Max HP to all enemies after consuming 20% of his health.
It will be interesting to see how fans will use him in a team composition as he benefits from a “high-risk high reward” gameplay.
