Relic sets recommendations for Sunday in Honkai Star Rail
Since Sunday specializes in buffing his allies, the support-type Relic sets suit him the best. The sets you should farm and use are
- 4-piece Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal
- 2-piece Messenger Traversing Hackerspace + 2-piece Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal
Since Sunday needs both SPD and CRIT DMG to boost his abilities’ potency, the Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal is his best-suited Relic set. The Whopping 36% CRIT DMG boost is exceptional for his damage buffing abilities while the passive SPD boost is also beneficial.
If you don’t have a full set of Sunday’s BiS Relic set, the second-best option is the two-piece Messenger Traversing Hackerspace and two-piece Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal. Both of the two-piece sets will grant Sunday a significant SPD boost.
Best Planar Ornament sets for Sunday
Moving over to the best Planar Ornament sets for Sunday, we recommend the following:
- Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
- Broken Keel
Lushaka, the Sunken Seas is one of the newer Planar Ornaments in this HoYoverse title that grants its wearer a passive 5% ERR (Energy Regeneration Rate) boost. It can provide an additional 12% ATK boost to the first character of the team composition if the wielder is not the first one.
Broken Keel is also effective on Sunday but is a little bit worse than Lushaka, the Sunken Seas. Unlike the latter, this Ornament set grants the wielder a decent bit of Effect RES while boosting all allies’ CRIT DMG. The CRIT DMG boost can only be activated when the wearer’s Effect RES hits the 30% threshold.
Light Cones to use with Sunday in Honkai Star Rail
Like most 5-star characters, Sunday will get his own signature Light Cone (LC), A Grounded Ascent. Since the aforementioned LC is his BiS, it's certain to work and pair with his abilities the best.
Apart from Sunday’s BiS LC, here are some options you can go for, if you aren't pulling for A Grounded Ascent:
- But the Battle Isn’t Over – 5-star
- Past and Future – 4-star
- Dance! Dance! Dance! – 4-star
