Honkai Star Rail The Herta kit guide: Skill, ultimate, and abilities explained

Right before her release in Honkai Star Rail, HoYoverse officially revealed how The Herta’s abilities will work. Since she treads on the Erudition Path, this Genius Society member specializes in dealing AoE damage. The developers have implemented a unique feature to her kit to keep things interesting and her gameplay enjoyable.

Did You Get It: (Basic ATK): The Herta attacks an adversary, dealing Ice damage.

Big Brain Energy: (Skill): The Herta unleashes an attack on an enemy that deals Ice damage and inflicts “Interpretation” simultaneously. Once the attack hits the primary target, the adjacent enemies will also receive Ice damage.

Hear Me Out: (Enhanced Skill): Upon activating this ability, The Herta attacks the target, dealing Ice damage to the adversary and all adjacent enemies. At the same time, she consumes a stack of “Inspiration” and inflicts a stack of “Interpretation” on the main target of this ability.

Told Ya! Magic Happens: (Ultimate): When The Herta triggers this ability, she rearranges the “Interpretation” numbers. While she's doing it, the high-level target/boss receives most of the numbers and deals Ice damage to all adversaries. Additionally, activating this ability boosts this Genius Society member’s ATK and grants her a unique buff – “Inspiration.” This buff enhances The Herta’s Skill.

Hand Then Over: (Talent): After engaging, The Herta inflicts “Interpretation” on all enemies. When a wave starts, a random adversary becomes a victim and receives some “Interpretation” stacks, the high-value/boss-tier enemies get more priority. The Enhanced Skill’s damage multiplier receives a boost depending on how many “Interpretation” stacks enemies have. When an enemy gets eliminated, their stacks get transferred, and the Elite and above-tier enemies get more priority.

Vibe Checker: (Technique): By activating this ability, The Herta can boost her ATK for a certain number of turns when she engages in a battle and Treasure Chests will get marked on the map, simultaneously. If she enters a fight after using this ability while in the Simulated Universe or Divergent Universe, The Herta deals a decent amount of True damage to all opponents.
