"Hope they don't get in trouble": Gamers express concern for Dbrand's CEO as Nintendo Switch 2 dimension leaks go viral

Nintendo had stated that they would be revealing the Nintendo Switch 2 — which is rumored to be the next handheld console — before April 2025. However, it looks highly unlikely to happen before 2024 ends. In the meantime, we have witnessed a lot of Switch 2 leaks and rumors, and now another one joins the list. Dbrand's CEO has made another exciting revelation related to the upcoming console recently.

However, manufacturers of Switch are infamous for suing anyone who goes against their NDAs. As a social media post that talked about leaked Switch 2 dimensions went viral, many fans pointed out that this might land Adam Ijaz (CEO of Dbrand) in trouble. User @Scars1023 commented:

"How are they just calm releasing this information?! No NDA?! I mean, cool that we get to see it and all. I just hope they don't get in trouble."

While this comment may sound concerning, it isn't as serious as it sounds. It stems from an extremely popular joke amongst the community on the internet which implies that Nintendo sends their hitmen to the houses of whoever crosses them.

Of course, this is a joke that is based on the fact that the popular gaming company has filed multiple lawsuits against people or brands that have ever revealed any important inside information or even against the ones who tried to pirate their games.

As Dbrand's CEO made some revelations about the dimensions of the next Nintendo handheld, a social media post went viral, which caught the attention of a lot of gamers. While there is no clarity at the moment on whether this information is true or not, it surely did raise a few concerns regarding Adam Ijaz's safety after this incident.

Another user pointed out that the information might not be true.

"Interesting that he's just coming out and saying this but....It's Dbrand lol. They are known to be trolls. If they say the sky is blue, I need another to verify," said @Pray4TheBatman.

@FeorgeGloydd sarcastically mentioned that the hitman visiting the CEO would be Luigi:

Another user wrote that the company was not worried about what would happen, having made this bold move:

"Dbrand don't give a f**k about any kind of lawsuits I guess lmao," said @SRVisGod24.

Another user was simply blown away with how Dbrand's CEO took a big risk in revealing this information.

"Dbrand is f**kin wild for this holy s**t," said @MiodaV3.

This is one of the many Switch 2 leaks that we have witnessed so far. Just a few days back, a social media post claimed that the Switch 2 will have multiple Type-C ports.

Nintendo Switch 2 design reportedly leaked

In a Facebook post from a user named Towkay Vortex, multiple images of a blue silicon case for Nintendo Switch 2 came to light. It also gives a rough idea about the console's design. If this leak is true, the upcoming handheld console will have two Type-C ports. While most of the design remains the same as the Switch OLED, there are a few minor changes in the overall look.

We might get to witness a bigger kickstand this time around alongside a mysterious button. Most likely this button is to just remove the Joy-Cons, but nothing can be said for sure till the time we get an official reveal from Nintendo.
