Adding a friend in XDefiant is a pretty straightforward procedure. Being an arena shooter with a Ranked mode just around the corner, having your friends play with you as a team will certainly improve your chances of winning a match. Playing in the same party as your friend will improve communication, and, needless to say, enable you to play the game strategically and drastically improve your chances of taking home the cake.

How to add a friend in XDefiant

Adding a friend is quite simple in XDefiant thanks to the seamless integration it has with various clients. Here's how you can do it:

First, launch Ubisoft Connect from the game's main menu.
Go to the left panel and find the 'Social' tab.
Search for your friend using their Ubisoft Connect username.
Once you have found the right person, select 'Add to friends'.

That is all there is to it. Now just wait for them to accept your friend request. Once done, they will appear in your in-game friend list. If for some reason, their name doesn't appear, simply restart the game for it to refresh.

Select 'Invite to Party'.
