The process is surprisingly easy. To change your game's server region, follow these steps:
- Boot up the game and log in.
- Select Play, which brings up the player team lobby.
- You will find a region name mentioned on the right of the screen. This is the default, closest server that the game has selected for your region.
- To change the server, click on it, browse through the options, and select any other region as desired.
- Click Confirm to save the changes.
While you need not worry about servers since the game defaults to the best one with the lowest ping, there are several options to pick from. They are as follows:
- North America: North Virginia, Oregon, Dallas
- South America: Sao Paulo
- Europe: Frankfurt, Warsaw
- Asia: Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney
- Middle-East: Dammam
That said, the lower the ping the better, so if by chance the game does end up selecting a server that introduces latency or other issues like rubber-banding, then consider switching to another region that offers the lowest ping. Once this is done and dusted, you can either play solo or team up with friends.

What is Marvel Rivals about?
Developed by NetEase Games, Marvel Rivals is a 6v6 third-person hero shooter that pits iconic Marvel heroes and villains against one another. From the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy to the X-Men and more, the game is rife with both popular picks and obscure ones, granting players ample variety to pick from.
Each falls under one of three distinct roles: Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist, which are the equivalent of Tank, DPS, and Support roles in other hero shooters. While the game has drawn several comparisons to Overwatch 2, the competitor hero shooter from Blizzard Entertainment, when it comes to character playstyles, it still manages to retain its own distinct identity that continues to appeal to newcomers and longtime fans.
